Since I was 15 years old I started my adventure of travelling alone, sometimes accompanied with a couple of friends, but those trips didn´t have to much adventure because we were too young. When I was 18 and I enter to the University my trips started to be different and travel become something necessary for me.
Travelling is the only way that I can feel completely free, It´s my time, my own direction, when I travel I disappear, I get unplugged of my responsibilities, my family and problems. When I travel the only thing that I do is enjoy, enjoy every minute, experiences and opportunities.
I have a memorable journey, it was during February of 2010, I went to the north of my country, Peru and Bolivia. At that time I went with only one friend, Valentina, we didn´t know us too much but we had a great experience. We started our trip in Santiago, we took a bus direct to Arica, from that city we started our adventure. We visited many places, a normal trip until we started to return to Chile from Bolivia, we didn´t have money so we had to hitch- hike, that was an experience because nobody wanted to lift two backpackers and it was unthinkable if we were Chilean. But after ten hours a truck driver led us.
Nice story. The first time I went to San Pedro I camped overnight in Valle de la Luna and in the morning walked across the desert to the mainroad. It looked close when we started out but it took us 3 hours to reach.
